Our Team

Carrie graduated from South Texas College of Law and became licensed as a Texas attorney in 2001. Carrie also received her license to practice law in Colorado in 2010. Carrie's background in civil litigation and as an assistant district attorney prosecuting criminal cases paved the way for her substantial trial experience and prowess. She leverages this experience to get better results for her family law clients, whether it's through trial or settlement. Carrie was selected for a one-year clerkship on the Fort Worth Court of Appeals for the Second District of Texas upon graduating law school, which ignited her passion for appellate work. Carrie has gone on to handle dozens of family law appeals in Texas and Colorado state appellate courts and in the Texas Supreme Court. Carrie has genuine compassion for her clients and understands the extremely difficult and unique situations that arise in family law cases.
